Ahh those wonderful teen years, me & Ian have been acquaintance since our teens. It is in 1993 that Stephane Degrasse reintroduce Ian to me. At the time me & Stephane were neighbor and one night Ian showed-up for a chat, we've been good friends since then.

Ian is one of the most dedicated musician I have seen in my life. He had many opportunities to get good jobs to pay the bills but he couldn't do it. It has always been clear for anybody who knows Ian: It is music and nothing else. Ian has been playing in clubs for years... He actually started when he was underage in bars. Playing sometimes the top 40's, sometimes the classics like the Beatles, the Stones, Led Zep, etc. Sometimes with a rock band some other times as a single folk singer. He's also done many contest and for the most part he won them. Our friendship got up one notch when we started playing together as a duet. We did a few gigs and one of them was in Gaspesia for the Christmas holidays. Anybody who has been in that area in winter knows it is a terrible time to be there. -40 degree was the temperature and the roads were pure ice. Nevertheless we rock the place and we had a blast that sealed our friendship forever.

Like most of us Ian started playing American music or at least music with english singing but in the last few years he has discover a love for french music. He's done a few CD's in french and the more he does it the more he loves it. Ian is also currently playing with Sule, a Montreal base band who focuses on originals (english music by the way). A singer, guitar player, bass player, self producer, Ian is also a husband and the dad of two wonderful kids so as you can imagine he is very busy. He'll be the first one to say there is always room for a good project so if you need a guy who can write songs, record some guitar or bass tracks and can sing in both english & french then Ian is your first choice. He is quick at finding solutions that work because he had to figure it out with his own productions. Contact Ian by email or on his Facebook and let me assure you, you'll have a blast... Guarantee.
